Below Deck Season 12 Episode 7 Recap: Champagne, Chaos & Carnivale.
Welcome back aboard the mayhem! In Below Deck Season 12 Episode 7, titled “Party Dockin’ in the House Tonight,” we get a chaotic Carnivale event, interior team meltdowns, and a crew so overworked they’re one mimosa away from mutiny. Let’s break it down, crew by crew, chaos by chaos. ⛵🔥

🍾 The VIP Party Planning Panic
Fraser is deep in party prep mode, but absolutely nothing is ready hours before the big Carnivale bash. He’s flustered, frazzled, and dealing with the kind of event planner updates that make you question your career. The crew’s working double time—and that’s before the drunk guests even show up.
Meanwhile, production is giving Chef Anthony the Netflix-style edit of dreams. French rap, glamour shots, and plating porn. We see you, Bravo editors.
💔 Kyle, Jess & Solène: The Love Triangle That Shouldn’t Be
Kyle’s still licking his wounds after catching Solène kissing Jess. Jess and Solène don’t exactly scream “soulmates,” and honestly… Kyle’s not wrong—Solène seems more into stirring the pot than finding a boo. Her vibe? Pure chaos meets “I love risk and adrenaline.”
👑 Hugo’s Calm Boss Energy
Let’s give flowers to Hugo, who is crushing it as bosun. He’s cool, calm, collected—basically the anti-Caio—and it’s rubbing off on his team. Even Captain Kerry calls it a proud dad moment.
🔥 Carnivale Goes Off… Sort Of
Despite the madness, Fraser pulls it together and the VIP party goes off with fire eaters, stilt walkers, and dancers… in a parking lot strip mall. A $20,000 parking lot party? Only on Below Deck.
Still, the guests were drunk, the confetti flew, and no one noticed the bargain-basement vibes. Fraser considers it a win, and honestly, same.
💢 Solène’s Work Ethic? MIA
While everyone’s busting their butts, Solène is popping champagne, dodging tasks, and dragging Jess down with her. Rainbeau is DONE. She’s cleaning solo late at night while Solène sneaks off to bed or argues about fridges. Yes, plural. All of them.
Fraser finally clocks the issue and goes to Captain Kerry: “We have a problem.” And thank god, because Solène is giving Team Morale: 0.
💼 Fraser Drops the Hammer
Before heading off to a much-needed villa break (two days off), Fraser pulls the team together and tells them: Step up or get cut. Even Bárbara’s asked to sit up—no slouching in this interior squad.
Rainbeau and Solène try to clean cabins together, but Solène shrugs it all off. She literally says, “I don’t have time to care about my work.” Excuse me??
🤑 A $27.5K Tip & A Storm Brewing
At least the crew walks away with a fat $27,500 tip… and the promise of a wild villa getaway next episode. Based on the mid-season trailer, let’s just say: things are about to get real. 🍹👀
🚨 Final Thoughts:
Solène is absolutely the crew cancer right now—draining morale and dodging responsibility at every turn. Jess needs to wake up and see the mess she’s getting pulled into. Honestly, Kyle was right all along: Solène’s selfish. On the bright side, Fraser finally stepped up and showed real leadership, while Rainbeau deserves both a break and a raise for carrying the team.
