It looks like the slopes aren’t the only thing going down in Salt Lake City. Why is it always this cast with money…”issues”.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s newest cast member, Britani Bateman, is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. A civil lawsuit filed earlier this month accuses the 53-year-old reality star of refusing to return $100,000 allegedly loaned to her by her ex-husband’s elderly mother — funds that were reportedly intended to support basic living and medical expenses.
According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Sandra Underwood, 87, claims she gave Britani the money in 2021 during a family crisis, believing she could withdraw the funds whenever needed. But now? Sandra says she’s being stonewalled. Yikes!
The funds were deposited into a trust set up by Britani’s father and controlled by Britani herself, a move Sandra says was encouraged by Britani under the promise that the money would be available to her at any time. But after multiple attempts to get the money back, including a formal demand letter from Sandra’s attorney, Britani has allegedly gone silent.
In the suit, Sandra accuses Britani of acting “willfully and maliciously” and using the funds for her own benefit while flaunting a lavish lifestyle on social media. And it doesn’t end there – Sandra claims she later added another $200,000+ to the trust to help build a home on Britani’s property. That home? Still nonexistent.
👀 Britani is painting a different picture
She’s claimed that her bank accounts have been drained by her ex-husband, John Scott Underwood, and that he’s cut her off from their joint businesses. The former couple shared several ventures, including real estate and production companies.
The legal drama isn’t one-sided. Britani’s also filed claims accusing John of financial misconduct and emotionally abusive behavior during their marriage. From alleged unauthorized spending to intense control over her appearance and personal life, Britani’s allegations are explosive. However, John’s legal team is pushing back, calling Britani’s complaints a pattern of “false and exaggerated claims.”
❄️ New Season on the horizon
As RHOSLC gears up for a new season, this unfolding real-life courtroom saga adds serious weight to Britani’s storyline. Viewers may be getting more than they bargained for, and so might Britani, if Sandra’s lawsuit moves forward with the damages she’s demanding: the $100K plus interest, attorney’s fees, and potentially triple the losses.
From reality TV fame to real-life legal fallout, this is one cast shakeup that may not be scripted. And girl, we are ready for it! Are you ready for this new season for RHOSLC releasing this fall? ⬇️

Girl bye
I’ve already posted my response on Adam’s YouTube channel and Instagram broadcast channel; but for anyone who has not read it and is interested in my unfiltered opinion…
This doesn’t surprise me. Last season RHOSLC she “allegedly” recorded the cast’s private conversations on her phone in a sprinter van. Which she denied; but it was obvious to everyone she was lying. I also find her annoying and irrelevant.
I wish Bravo would bring back Monica Garcia. She was my favourite housewife.
I also love Mary Cosby and Meredith Marks.
who?
