Now the Hadid family just got bigger and no one saw this coming. In a heartfelt statement shared this week, Gigi and Bella Hadid confirmed the existence of their 23-year-old half-sister, Aydan Nix. Yes, you read that right. There’s another Hadid out there, and she’s already turning heads.

According to Gigi and Bella, Aydan is the daughter of their father, Mohamed Hadid, and a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull. The relationship happened after Mohamed’s split from Yolanda Hadid back in 2001. While it was brief, the result was life-changing.
Aydan grew up in Florida, completely unaware of her biological father’s identity. Raised by a man she believed was her dad until his passing when she was 19, Aydan only recently discovered her true lineage after taking a DNA test out of curiosity. That test sparked a major f*cking family revelation. Can you imagine?

Fast forward to late 2023, and the Hadid sisters finally connected with Aydan while she was studying abroad in Paris. Since then, it seems the bond has seemed to have only grown. Gigi and Bella say the family has welcomed Aydan “with open arms” and that she’s already spent time with their father and siblings.

The sisters shared in a statement, urging the public to respect Aydan’s privacy as she settles into life in New York.

Speaking of NYC, Aydan is a Parsons School of Design grad living in Manhattan and eyeing a future in fashion. Designer, stylist, and budding influencer? Sounds like she fits right in.
While Gigi and Bella are embracing their newfound sisterhood, sources say Mohamed Hadid has kept things more low-key. He’s reportedly cordial with Aydan but hasn’t made a public statement or offered financial support. He does, however, follow her on Instagram…modern parenting, right?
The Hadid clan is already one of fashion’s most high-profile families, and with Aydan now in the picture, there’s no telling what this new Hadid chapter could look like.
