Up and Adam!

As we head into The Valley S2 E9 (airing Tuesday on Bravo), Bravo just dropped the first 7 minutes as a sneak peek!

First Look: Kristen’s Party Is a War Zone in Waiting

The sneak peek kicks off at Kristen’s party, and who struts in like nothing’s wrong? Janet and Jason. Kristen and Jasmine look like they’ve just seen ghosts.

Jasmine, in what might be her most mature moment this season, actually offers to have a real conversation with Janet. She says she wants to move forward. Is it hopeful? Maybe. But not based on this groups’ track record.

Also, someone please explain again why Scheana is there? Because this girl keeps showing up with zero relevance. It’s giving “fetch” as in, stop trying to make it happen. It’s clear Bravo is keeping her around for star power, not substance.

Where we ended last week

Last week:

• Scheana was still clinging to her “famous enchiladas” and oversharing (we really didn’t need the hemorrhoid update, mama).

• Zack is heartbreakingly watching Brittany slip further away. He’s not picking sides, but she clearly is and it’s not his.

• Janet continued her season-long masterclass in deflection. She’ll gossip all day, but hold a mirror to her face? Certain meltdown. Jasmine finally calling her out was the mic-drop we needed.

• Jason never got a fair chance to hear Jasmine out thanks to Janet’s constant interjections. That moment could’ve been healing, if Janet had just let people speak.

• Nia’s body image struggle post-baby is one of the show’s most relatable storylines. Danny showing up for her in such a grounded, supportive way? Great moment.

• And Jax? He’s doing his best impression of a man in reflection, but every time he talks to someone new, the narrative shifts.

The darkness everyone keeps teasing? You can feel it getting closer. This show has legs if it keeps diving into raw, real issues and cuts down on the gimmicks (sorry, enchiladas). Rumors of Jeremy Madix and Tom Sandoval joining the cast for Season 3 isn’t a very redeeming quality either.

Tuesday’s episode is going to be intense, uncomfortable, and just the kind of Bravo best mess.

The Valley airs Tuesdays on Bravo.
