Listen, we’ve all watched our favorite franchises come and go. Miami was snatched away before it rose from the ashes, Dallas fizzled out, and D.C.… well, we barely remember. But if there’s one show that deserves to stick around and thrive, it’s The Real Housewives of Dubai. And I’m not just saying that because of the yachts, tigers, and Louis Vuitton-lined Range Rovers (though… those don’t hurt either).
Bravo, if you’re listening: do not cancel Dubai. In fact, lean in harder. This franchise is on the cusp of greatness…and here’s why.

Caroline Stanbury Is the Anchor We Didn’t Know We Needed
Let’s start with the obvious: Caroline Stanbury is a seasoned reality TV queen, and she’s the gravitational pull that keeps this show pushing in the right direction. She’s not new to this! Caroline first came into our lives on Bravo’s Ladies of London, delivering dry British wit, blunt truth, and fashion with a side of snark. Now in Dubai, she’s leveled up, literally. She’s got a footballer husband 20 years her junior, a desert estate with more marble than the Vatican, and a smug smile that says “yes, I am better than you.”
And we love it.
Caroline brings balance to the cast. She doesn’t fake drama. She doesn’t try too hard. She’s the eye of the storm. She’s seasoned. She’s not the loudest, but she’s the most in control. In other words, she’s giving Lisa Vanderpump energy with a Middle Eastern edge — and Bravo needs that.
The Cast Is Finally Clicking
Season 1 felt like a flashy Instagram feed: lots of sparkle, not much story. But Season 2? The dynamics finally clicked. Lisa Milan is no longer just the girl with a fashion line, she’s stepping into main character energy, giving us conflict, family vulnerability, and good old-fashioned clapbacks.
Chanel Ayan remains TV gold. She’s eccentric, unpredictable, and delivers one-liners like she’s auditioning for SNL. She’s one of the rare Housewives whose confessional looks and commentary live rent-free in your head all week. Plus, her make-up line is just getting started and I want to watch successful people run their business!
And while Caroline Brooks and Sara Al Madani have brought layered representation and personal storylines, it’s clear that Dubai has range — women from different cultures, faiths, and economic backgrounds trying to navigate friendships in one of the world’s wealthiest, most image-conscious cities. It also shows the city of Dubai for what it is, what it’s becoming and the bold direction the city is heading in.
We’ve just been introduced to a new Housewife, Taleen Marie, and wow… what a story. She brought the energy and authenticity this cast was craving. And let’s talk crossovers: with Juliet from Ladies of London, Phaedra from RHOA, and more popping in, this show was quickly becoming a Bravo hub. That says a lot.
Dubai Deserves to Be Seen!
Every new Housewives franchise needs time to breathe. Potomac wasn’t an instant hit. Salt Lake City didn’t start with a Jen Shah indictment. And yet now they’re Bravo darlings. Dubai deserves that same investment.
The show’s improving. The drama is more personal. The friendships feel real. And Caroline Stanbury? She’s sitting there like a diamond in the desert, waiting for the franchise to finally catch up to her.
So Bravo, don’t pull the plug. Double down. This cast, this city, and this show are ready to be iconic.
