MJ Opens Up: The Truth Behind Her Split from Tommy Feight.
After seven years of marriage, our favorite The Valley: Persian Style star is finally setting the record straight on why she pulled the plug, and no, it’s probably not what you think.
Was There a Third Party?
Whenever a Bravo couple calls it quits, the first question is always: Who cheated? But according to MJ, that wasn’t the case at all. Appearing on the Humble Brag podcast, MJ was incredibly candid about the demise of their marriage. She made it clear that there was no infidelity and no “outside” interference.
Instead, MJ described the end of their marriage as a train finally reaching its station. She realized that while the romantic spark had faded, they still had a massive responsibility to their son, Shams. For MJ, filing for divorce wasn’t about drama; it was about self-preservation and maintaining a healthy environment for their family.
A Radical New Living Situation
So, what does life look like for the Javid-Feight household now? It’s actually pretty unique! MJ revealed to The Daily Dish that she and Tommy have moved out of their joint home but haven’t gone far. In fact, they are living in the same cul-de-sac.
MJ described her new space as: Bright and airy, a fresh star and having total control!
Co-Parenting Like Pros
Despite some initial friction regarding custody, it sounds like these two have turned a corner. MJ is leaning into this “new chapter” with a focus on mutual respect. She believes they can salvage a friendship while being the best possible parents to Shams.
It’s refreshing to see a reality star choose self-worth and peace over a toxic cycle. MJ is proving that you can still love someone deeply while acknowledging that you simply shouldn’t be married to them anymore.
One Response
I agree, you said it very well – she loves him but they shouldn’t live together because the relationship is unhealthy
I wonder about people like Tommy. He went through so much so it scarred him very deeply, can this amount of damage be undone? Can he unlearn his aggressive responses? I can’t remember anyone who could be an example of a success story like that, but I still hope it’s possible
