Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Premiere Recap: New Yacht, Familiar Faces & Immediate Drama.

Season 10 of Below Deck Mediterranean wastes no time diving into the drama. Fans are welcomed back with a shiny new yacht, M/Y Bravado, and a cast that mixes familiar faces with fresh personalities. Right from the first scenes, Bravo leans into a new style of following cast members from their hometowns to the boat, which makes their arrivals more cinematic and gives viewers a peek into who they are off-charter.

Familiar Faces & Big Life Changes

It’s a treat to see Chief Stew Aesha Scott back at the helm of the interior alongside returning deckhand Max “Frenchie” Salvador and Bosun Nathan Gallagher. A lot has changed since last season: Captain Sandy Yawn got married, and Aesha is now engaged. There’s also a major interior shake-up with Kizzi Kitchener as second stew and V (Victoria) from Florida taking the third stew spot, bringing a bubbly “winging it” attitude that might prove tricky under pressure.

A Yacht Upgrade & A Deck Team Under Pressure

The M/Y Bravado is an impressive step up for the franchise. But as usual, new yacht means new challenges. Nathan arrived only two hours before the first charter due to food poisoning, which left Max temporarily running point on deck. Tessa Budd also came in late, and Christian Trimino—once a pilot—struggled with his knots, leading to a runaway jet ski during Captain Sandy’s signature “all the toys out” moment. It’s the kind of embarrassment that sets up a season-long redemption arc or a career-ending blunder.

Chef Josh Bingham Serves Michelin-Level Flair

One of the brightest spots of the episode is Chef Josh Bingham. With experience at multiple Michelin-star restaurants, he launched straight into a jaw-dropping first lunch. Josh even revealed a quirky backstory about training with a clown in Nicaragua, calling himself a “vessel for creative outlets.” It’s clear this chef will be more than just food, he’s here to entertain.

Interior Harmony vs. Exterior Chaos

While Aesha dazzles charter guests with constant compliments and impeccable service, Nathan is visibly frustrated with his short prep time and a team still finding its rhythm. Between Kizzi’s potential for mischief and V’s self-described “winging it” technique, the interior could become the most entertaining storyline yet.

A Promising Season Ahead

The premiere also teases an intriguing guest lineup of crypto kings and real estate moguls. Add in a bachelor hoping his matchmaker can help him find love on board, and we’re primed for classic Below Deck Med chaos. With Barcelona as the backdrop and a return to the series’ traditional editing style (less flash, more substance), this season already feels stronger and more grounded than recent installments.
