Below Deck Season 12 Episode 11 Recap: Chef Anthony Shines, Kyle Sparks Scandal & Solene Spirals.

In Below Deck Season 12 Episode 11, Chef Anthony delivers a show-stopping seven-course dinner, Kyle’s birthday night out sparks scandal, and Solene’s season-long drama takes a turn.

🍽️ Chef Anthony’s Big Moment

Finally — some airtime for the galley that isn’t just about mistakes! Chef Anthony delivered a jaw-dropping seven-course dinner, proving why he’s the self-proclaimed “bad-ass chef” of the season. The table setting? Gorgeous. The food? Perfection. My only gripe, Richard’s random Yeti cooler on the table. We’re on a yacht. Act like it.

Production actually leaned into showing Anthony’s talent this week, and it paid off. Between his redemption arc and his creative plates, he’s easily becoming one of the highlights of Season 12.

🛥️ Captain Kerry: The Real MVP

Captain Kerry took one for the team (literally) letting a guest put panties on his face during the pajama party. The man knows how to entertain without losing control of the boat, and I’m here for it.

The guests loved the party, feathers from the pillow fight not so much. Rainbow offered to help clean, but Fraser? Nowhere in sight. As chief stew, he needs to step up, especially since Selena was busy vacuuming her boobs (don’t ask).

🌈 Rainbeau Rises, Jess Self-Reflects

Rainbeau is finding her stride in her confessionals and becoming more fun to watch each week. Jess, for all her messy moments, deserves credit for taking inventory of her own behavior and trying to course-correct. That’s rare on this show, and honestly, commendable.

💵 The Tip Jar Shock

The crew pulled in a $22,000 tip — about $1,692 each — but their faces said it all: after everything they dealt with, it felt… low. In yachting, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

🎉 Kyle’s Birthday Blow-Up

Kyle’s night out for his birthday ended with him making out with a random woman, which, shocker, made Solene jealous. Then came a sex scene straight out of a different Bravo show. He later joked about possibly hooking up with a charter guest, which triggered Captain Kerry’s Spidey senses.

Did it happen? I doubt it. There were too many people around — including the guest’s husband. But if Kyle was just stirring the pot, Fraser better hope it doesn’t backfire because he’s been known to rat before.

🙄 Solene’s Spiral

Solene’s mood this episode? All over the place. With Kyle and Jess both off her flirtation roster, she’s suddenly isolated and upset — but honestly, this is a mess of her own making. She started the season strong but now seems to be playing the victim in games she started. I’m over it.

🚤 A New Charter & Final Thoughts

The next group of charter guests? All restauranteurs who wisely leave the menu in Chef Anthony’s hands — the correct way to do yachting…in my opinion.

Without last week’s over-edited drama, this episode felt more balanced and fun. But with Kyle’s parting confessional (“Give Helen a call”), it’s clear he won’t be back on Below Deck. Whether or not he crossed a line, his time is up.
