Love Triangles, Firings, and Yacht-Chella Mayhem | Below Deck Season 12 Episode 6 Recap.

Things are heating up (and unraveling) fast aboard the M/Y St. David this week on Below Deck Season 12, Episode 6. Captain Kerry finally pulls the plug on Caio, Fraser is knee-deep in party planning hell, and Solène? Let’s just say she’s in full chaos mode and it’s becoming slightly annoying.

⚓ Goodbye, Caio

Captain Kerry shows class as he lets Caio go — telling him he’s just not ready for a yacht this size and team this experienced. To his credit, Caio takes it well, even admitting he bit off more than he could chew. But Kerry wasn’t caught off guard; he had already been looking at résumés before delivering the news.

Naturally, we were all rooting for Jess to move up, but in walks Hugo, the new Bosun, with a stellar résumé and confidence to match. Kerry’s impressed. Damo? Not so much, he’s skeptical of Hugo’s bold energy. Still, Hugo nails his first assignment, guiding the yacht through a tight bridge passage and boosting morale on deck.

💋 Solène’s Love Games (with a Side of Jess and Kyle)

Solène continues to play puppet master with both Kyle and Jess. She claims she’s no longer into Kyle… so what does she do? Makes out with Jess — in the bathroom — on crew night out. Twice.

Was it genuine? Or a petty “message” to Kyle? Either way, it worked. Kyle spirals, blaming himself for having poor judgment, while Solène flirts, bites, and straddles the line between both deckies. She even says to Jess, “I don’t care. That’s life.” Cold.

And just when we think Solène’s chosen Jess, she’s kissing Kyle on the cheek and saying he made her “nipples happy.” We’re calling it: Solène doesn’t want to choose, she wants both.

As a viewer? I’m over her antics, especially when it comes to wrok.

🍾 The Guests from Hell Have Arrived

This new charter brings one word to mind: disaster. These are strip-club moguls with expensive tastes, outrageous demands, and zero manners. Jason (not me!) and Dawn are the worst offenders — barking orders, yelling at stews, and berating the chef.

Fraser warns Captain Kerry that this group is “rude, classless, and obnoxious,” and he’s not wrong. Dawn literally screams at Rainbeau about tequila shots and tells her she’s on the “sh*t list.” Meanwhile, Jason critiques everything from the welcome drinks to the piccata, which Chef Anthony nails (twice).

🎤 Yacht-Chella or Yacht-Fail?

The guests want a full-blown concert on the dock — VIP section, DJ, Carnival dancers, and a live performance. Oh, and they want it now. Fraser’s given a $20,000 budget and about 24 hours to pull it off.

He hustles to find an event planner, but when he and Captain Kerry check on the setup the morning of the party… nothing has been done. Zero progress. Fraser’s stressed. Kerry’s pissed. And if this doesn’t get sorted fast, it’s going to be the disaster of the season.

💥 Tensions Below Deck

While the guests bring the storm, the crew isn’t exactly calm seas. Barbara and Rainbeau aren’t vibing, and Solène is clearly slacking during the night shifts, leaving Rainbeau to carry the load. Damo sees it. Fraser’s starting to notice. It’s only a matter of time before someone snaps.

And from the look of next week’s preview? Rainbeau’s ready to walk.

👀 Final Thoughts

Between the fiery love triangle, a new Bosun with something to prove, and charter guests who belong on Real Housewives of Hell, this episode gave us good. Below Deck drama. And we’re only on Episode 6. However, I’m going to admit that this is not my favorite season…so far.

Catch your breath and brace yourself. Yacht-Chella might just be the calm before the real storm.
