Crystal Kung Minkoff Shuts Down Jacqueline Laurita RHOC Rumor.
Casting chatter surrounding The Real Housewives of Orange County is reaching a fever pitch, and now Crystal Kung Minkoff is stepping in to clarify one of the most talked-about rumors.
During a recent episode of Humble Brag, Crystal joined podcaster Ryan Bailey to discuss the current state of RHOC and what producers may be planning for the milestone twentieth season. As the conversation turned to rumored cast changes, the topic of Jacqueline Laurita quickly came up.
Ryan shared his thoughts on how RHOC has evolved and why casting decisions feel particularly strategic right now.
“Tamra is somebody that is so smart, but she plays every season of OC like a game of The Traitors,” Ryan said. “So I’m so fascinated with what they do with casting for season 20.”
Crystal pushed the conversation further, asking how the franchise could course-correct after a divisive season.
Ryan speculated that Bravo may lean into familiar faces, suggesting the network could anchor the show around Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and Shannon Beador, while potentially letting go of at least one current cast member. He then referenced a recent Page Six report claiming Jacqueline Laurita had been approached to join RHOC.
That is when Crystal shut the rumor down.
“I heard that’s not true,” Crystal said. “I heard that she was asked for … a different show.”
The comment immediately raised eyebrows. Jacqueline, who previously starred on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and now lives in Orange County, has long been rumored to be circling Bravo again, especially given her friendship with former OC cast member Gretchen Rossi.
So what show could Crystal be referring to?
While nothing has been confirmed, the timing aligns with Bravo’s upcoming franchise-spanning series The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, which is expected to begin filming soon. The event-style series will celebrate the legacy of the Housewives universe by bringing together familiar faces from across cities and eras.
Bravo has described the project as a tribute to the women who built the franchise and the fans who have supported it for two decades. According to the network, the series will start where it all began in Orange County before traveling across iconic locations tied to Housewives history.
Whether Jacqueline Laurita ends up on that road trip or somewhere else entirely remains to be seen. What is clear is that, for now, Crystal Kung Minkoff is putting distance between Jacqueline and the orange.
As RHOC continues to recalibrate ahead of its next season, fans should expect more rumors, more denials, and plenty of surprises still to come.
