Up and Adam!

Before we jump in, exciting news:

Anchor Watch is going LIVE on YouTube starting next Tuesday at 10:30 PM ET, right after the premiere of Below Deck Season 12. Captain Kerry is back, and based on the promos, it’s giving James Bond on a yacht meets Vanderpump Rules. You do NOT want to miss it. I’ll be joined by Gelsey as my new co-host and appearances by Josh, Greg and cast members from Below Deck.

🚤 Stuck in the Sand

We pick up right where we left off with the tender stuck in the sand. As someone who used to boat a lot in Florida, I get it. The tide changes fast, and if you’re not careful, you’re suddenly beached. Nate made a big mistake, and Captain Jason was clearly frustrated. As he should be. That said, I respect Nate for stepping up, owning the error, and turning it into something fun for the guests by leading a beach treasure hunt in a pirate costume. He saved the day—and even earned some flirty side-eye from Alesia.

Shoutout to the locals who helped get the tender back. MVPs.

🍝 The Great Tasting Menu Meltdown

Let’s talk about the real tension this episode: Lara. Or Laura. Or however you want to spell drama. The guests specifically requested a seven-course tasting menu. Seems reasonable, right? Lara decides this is a problem…because apparently, there aren’t enough plates or cutlery. That’s not a real excuse. That’s called not wanting to work. Instead of solving the issue like a Chief Stew should, she tries to push the problem onto Chef Tzarina, asking her to convince the guests to do fewer courses. Girl. No.

Thankfully, Tzarina held her ground and delivered an absolutely stunning French-inspired tasting menu: smoked beetroot tartare, saffron lobster risotto, a gorgeous Beef Wellington, and more. Every plate looked Michelin-starred. It was yacht dining at its finest—and the guests LOVED it.

Lara, meanwhile, sulking through the entire meal. She’s supposed to be a leader, but her attitude showed otherwise. And yet… they got a $25,500 tip. That’s nearly $2k each. Worth every asparagus spear carried up the stairs.

🪩 Tzarina’s Big Moment

At the final tip meeting, Captain Jason finally gave Tzarina the coveted disco helmet she’s been begging for all season. Justice!

Then came the final crew dinner and the emotional toasts. Tzarina praised Lara’s work…genuinely, in my opinion—but Lara took it as shade. Her face said it all. The next morning, she tried to reopen old wounds with Tzarina. But Tzarina, showing the growth we’ve seen all season, simply said: “If you don’t want to be my friend, that’s fine.” Boom. Growth!

❤️ Boatmance Check-In

Let’s talk boatmances:

Harry and Bri – Finally label it. He’s her boyfriend. Done and done. Even after a little twerk-related jealousy on the dance floor, they’re leaving hand-in-hand.

Nate and Alesia – She just wasn’t emotionally available. Nate felt led on. No romance there, but I’d love to see both of them back.

Marina and Nic – Our stealth MVP couple. Marina asked Nic to join her in South Africa, and from what I’ve seen on social media, they might still be going strong. Nic’s “Star Trek” exit? Iconic. (see photo above!)

⚓️ Final Thoughts

This season delivered storms, real growth, killer casting, and an unforgettable crew dynamic. I especially hope we keep the boys’ bathroom chats in future seasons. It was a fun, refreshing twist.

Huge thanks to production, the cast for keeping us engaged. Huge thank you to YOU for watching with me all season. Leave your thoughts on this season below. ⬇️
