Up and Adam!

Below Deck Season 12, Episode 15 Recap: Final Charter Chaos and Solène’s Never-Ending Love Island.

The last charter of Below Deck Season 12 brought everything we love (and sometimes roll our eyes at): dramatic dietary restrictions, Fraser micromanaging, Hugo slipping up, and of course… Solène bouncing between crushes like she’s on Love Island. Here’s the full rundown from Episode 15.

🍽️ Chef Anthony vs. Allergies

It’s the final charter of the season, and Chef Anthony is already sweating. The guests, led by primary Erin and her fun group of women, arrived ready to party but also brought what felt like a thousand dietary restrictions. Gluten free here, no tomato there, and oh yeah, an eight-course “fire and ice” dinner with Captain Kerry at the table. Anthony nearly had a meltdown before the food even hit the plate.

Meanwhile, Fraser decided to micromanage by suggesting how Anthony should make the dishes more “colorful.” Honestly? Fraser should focus on his own interior team instead of hovering in the galley.

💋 Barbara & Jess: From Bathroom Makeouts to Real Talk

Barbara and Jess came in hot this episode, sneaking off for kisses at dinner and keeping the chemistry alive. But beyond the PDA, they had an honest conversation about life after the season. Jess wants some time off while Barbara is hopping on another boat. They handled it maturely, admitting that the romance might not survive, but they’ll try to meet up down the line.

Barbara may be gorgeous, but she’s also realistic!

🙄 Solène: The Love Island of the Seas

Every episode seems to circle back to one question: Who does Solène like this week? Jess tried to clear the air with her, apologizing for last week’s blowup. Honestly, Jess was justified, but Solène acted like she was delivering the gospel. She brushed off the apology and kept floating from Kyle to Damo like she was auditioning for Love Island.

At least she actually did her job this charter…shocking, I know. Imagine if she had that energy all season.

🎉 Charter Guests Bring the Fun

Finally, a light-hearted group! Erin and her friends were flirty, playful, and wanted the crew shirtless on Jet Skis. Compared to the darker energy of Helen’s infamous charter, this was a breath of fresh air. They even organized a Malibu-style yacht dinner complete with a hilarious fashion show. The guests loved it, and so did I.

📖 Hugo Forgets His Job

While the guests enjoyed the fun, Hugo lost track of his actual duties. Captain Kerry noticed that the logbook hadn’t been updated in over two hours, and Hugo was caught up in the costume chaos. For someone who genuinely seems committed to yachting, this was a big slip.

Still, Hugo owned up, took accountability, and even got the chance to drop anchor afterward, a huge deal for his career. It was a stumble, but one that showed his growth.

🎆 Fireworks Ahead

As the episode closed, Anthony was spiraling about the eight-course dinner and fireworks to come. His stress set the tone, but if Below Deck has taught us anything, it’s this: when Anthony panics, it usually works out fine. But until next week, we’re left hanging.

Jason’s Take

This episode gave us everything we’re used to from this season… romance, screw-ups, fun guests, and way too much Solène. With only the season finale ahead, I can’t wait to see how this last dinner and fireworks show plays out.
