“I Know Who You Are”: Carlos King Puts Heather Gay on Blast.
What is going on in the 801, you guys?! We have some major drama crossing franchise lines today. Legendary producer Carlos King, the mastermind behind some of the most iconic seasons of RHOA and RHONJ, is speaking his truth, and he is not holding back when it comes to RHOSLC star Heather Gay.
On a recent episode of his podcast, Reality with The King, Carlos sat down with the one and only Monica Garcia to recap the current chaos in Salt Lake City. But things took a serious turn when the conversation shifted to Heather’s track record with the truth.
The Dangerous Label
Carlos didn’t mince words, straight up calling Heather “the most dangerous housewife that’s on television.” Why the heavy label? It all goes back to that infamous Season 3 black eye. As we all remember, Heather dragged out that mystery for an entire year, at one point hinting that production might have been responsible for the injury. Carlos, who has worked his way up from a PA to a king of the industry, took that personally.
“As a producer… we’re sacrificing our livelihood, leaving our families,” Carlos explained. “When she made that comment, I said, ‘Oh, I know who you are,’ and she has proven every season that I’m right.”
For Carlos, suggesting that the crew—people just doing their jobs—would physically harm a cast member is the ultimate betrayal of the producer-talent relationship.
Monica Garcia and Meredith Marks Chiming In
The shade didn’t stop there. Monica Garcia added her two cents, noting that she finds Heather to be someone who “does a lot of projecting.”
This also comes right on the heels of Meredith Marks appearing on Two Ts In A Pod, where she reminded everyone that Heather’s lies about the black eye didn’t just affect the cast, they put people’s actual jobs and reputations at risk.
Where Do We Go From Here?
While Heather eventually pointed the finger at Jen Shah, the damage seems to be done in the eyes of industry vets like Carlos King. Even though Jen Shah threatened legal action against Bravo and Andy Cohen over the claims, it’s the “dangerous” gameplay that has the fans (and the experts) talking.
Is Heather Gay playing the game too hard, or is she just misunderstood? If you ask Carlos King, he’s seen enough!
