RHOC Season 20: The OG is Back, But Who’s Getting Squeezed Out?
We’ve been hearing whispers for a while, but the Season 20 cast is finally taking shape, and it looks like a “historic” shakeup is exactly what we’re getting.
The biggest headline? The “OG of the OC” herself, Vicki Gunvalson, is officially reclaiming her throne. After Andy Cohen dropped that bombshell at BravoCon 2025, the big question was: who has to go to make room for Vicki’s paycheck?
The “Orange” Holders
According to new reports from Radar Online, the majority of the Season 19 cast can breathe a sigh of relief. It looks like Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Jennifer Pedranti have all been offered contracts to return.
But, as we know with Bravo, when one door opens, another one slams shut.
Katie Ginella is Out
The rumors are true: Katie Ginella will not be returning for Season 20. Katie took to Instagram to confirm the news herself, and she didn’t hold back on how she felt about the exit.
“After two seasons as a cast member on RHOC, the network has decided to move forward with Season 20 without me,” Katie shared. “While disappointing, it’s not entirely surprising after seeing how Season 19 played out.”
She wrapped up her statement by noting that while this chapter is closing, she’s proud of showing up authentically. It’s always a bummer to see a fresh face go so soon, but with Vicki back in the mix, the cast was getting a little crowded!
Is Gretchen Rossi in Limbo?
Now, here is where it gets interesting. Gretchen Rossi made her highly-anticipated return as a “friend” last year, and while it was a bumpy ride for her, she isn’t officially out of the running yet. Sources say Gretchen is currently “in limbo.”
Apparently, some of the other ladies have been reaching out to her to see if she’s coming back, and there is still a possibility she could even snag a full-time role. There is definitely unfinished business there, and we know Bravo loves a “hashed out” drama session in front of the cameras.

Production is set to begin filming shortly. Between Vicki’s return to the main cast and her upcoming stint on The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, the “OG” is going to be all over our screens.
