Is Whitney Rose’s Skincare Relaunch a Fresh Start or Just More of the Same?
If you’ve been following The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, you know Whitney’s business journey has been a bit of a roller coaster, and that’s putting it lightly.
After a 2025 that she clearly wants to leave in the rearview mirror, Whitney is officially hitting the “reset” button on Wild Rose Beauty. She recently took to her Instagram Stories, posing with her products and telling fans, “Exciting things to come for [Wild Rose Beauty] in 2026.” She even added a cheeky little jab at last year, saying, “Goodbye 2025 please shut the door on your way out.”
The Cost of a “Dream”
Let’s be real: the road to this relaunch has been messy. We watched the drama unfold on our screens…the rebranding from Iris + Beau, the massive financial drain, and that ill-fated attempt at a direct-to-consumer, multi-level marketing (MLM) model. Whitney admitted on the show that she and Justin lost over $500,000, which led to the heartbreaking termination of 30 employees.
Whitney told Bravo’s Daily Dish:
“I’m beyond excited to bring Wild Rose Beauty back home… This relaunch is deeply personal to me. It’s about reconnecting with what I originally set out to create.”
The MLM Elephant in the Room
While Whitney is leaning into this “empowerment” narrative, we can’t ignore the shadow that follows her brand. Whitney has been heavily criticized for her ties to MLM structures in the past. For many fans, the “multi-level marketing” tag is a major red flag, often associated with predatory business practices.
It’s not just the business model that has people side-eyeing this relaunch. We’ve seen reports and whispers from former brand ambassadors who have claimed mistreatment by the reality star. When you have former “family” members of the brand coming out with stories of a toxic environment, it makes that “authenticity” tagline a little harder to swallow.
Can She Actually Turn it Around?
Whitney claims the brand is “back selling” and that the support has been “amazing.” She’s looking to find that rhythm again, but in a saturated market where fans are becoming increasingly skeptical of “Housewife” brands, she has an uphill battle.
Is this a genuine comeback, or are we just watching the first chapter of another business failure? Whitney is determined to prove she can stand on her own two feet without the “merger” drama, but only time…and the reviews…will tell.
