Dorit Kemsley Fails at Defending Sutton Stracke on WWHL: “She’s a Social Climber”.

Listen, we know there is no love lost between Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke. After seasons of bickering over everything from home security to “main roads,” Andy Cohen decided to put Dorit to the ultimate test during her January 15 appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

In a game called “Suttonly Say More,” Andy gave Dorit one simple job: Have Sutton’s back. No matter what the question was, Dorit had to find a way to spin it positively.

Spoiler alert: It didn’t go exactly as planned.

The Sutton Brown Shade

Right out of the gate, Andy asked Dorit to compare Sutton Stracke to her “Sutton Brown” persona (her maiden name/southern belle roots). Dorit’s “compliment?”

“Um, she’s not as mean,” Dorit quipped.

Off to a rocky start, right? Even when trying to be nice, Dorit couldn’t help but acknowledge the friction that has defined their relationship lately.

The Mystery of Avi Gabay

The ladies have been buzzing all season about Sutton’s former right-hand man, Avi Gabay, suddenly vanishing from the picture. Sutton has kept her lips sealed, only stating that their “run” came to an end.

When Andy pushed Dorit to defend Sutton’s privacy regarding Avi, Dorit actually managed a decent save. She noted that when a relationship is that personal, you naturally don’t want your “dirty laundry being aired.” Honestly? A rare moment of solidarity from Beverly Hills’ resident fashionista.

The Main Road of It All

We all remember the Season 14 reunion where Dorit tried to come for Sutton’s real estate by claiming she lived on a “main road.” (I mean, in Bel-Air, that’s a Choice™).

Andy asked why living on a busy street isn’t actually an issue. Dorit struggled, eventually landing on the idea that because it’s Sutton’s first “non-marital house,” she deserves some “kudos.” It was a reach, but we’ll give her points for effort!

The Ultimate Backhanded Compliment

The wheels officially fell off the “Support Sutton Express” with the final question. Andy asked why Erika Jayne is lucky to have Sutton as a friend. Dorit’s response?

“Because Sutton is a social climber, so she has a lot of friends.”

Yikes! Just when we thought they were making progress, the shade came out in full force. You can take the girl out of the feud, but you can’t take the feud out of the Beverly Hills housewife.
